What is a Lord of Power-(this be in rough draft mode I might burn it and re write it out.)
A Lord Of Power was a classification of reality mage that’s no longer used in current space time within existence. At one time they were an aloof class of mages that sided with their respective guilds under the old noble houses to wage conflict upon the designated opponent.
They are beings that can distort and remake the reality around him, threw their whims changes are made to the world around them. Most would focus on specifics directly dealing with whatever the issue at hand is, while others would change everything around them to suit their needs. Either way that direct use of power allowed their sub conscious access to that ability slowly warping their character until they simply ceased to exist.
In current time the reputation of or more correctly the stigma of a “Lord of Power” or “Power Lord” is an ego maniac who’s unable to control his own power and that power so subtle and absolute is feared and loathed.
It has a negative condentation on it like crusaders or gangsters only without any of the cool or positive imaginary. You must understand that sentient culture has evolved and conglomerated into a universal society simple things as criminal, demonic, bestial and even fou endearing terms for real corruption are all parts of various levels of society and treated as cogs in the system some get removed, displaced or oiled as long as the system remains active and responsive to the needs of societies hierarchy this is true for both LF as it is DF as it is with the rest of existence.
The only real thing that strikes fear or dis-concern in the hearts of DF and LF alike is chaos as both sides have tasted its lust filled fornicating nature they know its un ending self destruction that returns them to linger in the beginning until its fended off or completely destroys them.
In a sense a Lord of Power is contained and limited chaos they bend many rules but eventually them and the surrounding region of space time will collapse the damage tends to be limited as they are driven off to their little worlds by the dark recesses of their minds.
The one who’s cursed with this stigma is a slightly inverted human who’s not sure of himself or where he is going, slowly he is stigmatized by light force society even as grand and glorious as it is in forgiving many things and quickly dealing with others social snobbery has become an art. He is labeled a “Lord of Power“due to the processing all initiant’s go through because his abilities are classified as wide range reality warping, even before he landed on the LF home worlds they knew of his existence and via committee decided to allow him entry. Officially he is classified as a “savant” one who manifests many skills but as time lingers on the truth spreads gossiping builds creating a uncomfortable environment to live in much less work and play.
Unlike those who were previously entitled “Lord of power “ He is doing something different he’s not using his power to directly affect things which has stopped him from regressing even though his mind is cracked and he struggles with the shadows of the heart he remains steadfast in not giving in and abusing his powers to the fullest.
This brings us to the weapons they are the focal point of his powers he’s able to imbue them enough power to deal with most tasks. He also can through the use of other skills use power based abilities but he’s not that good at using them like a absent minded mage casting a flame spell it will either fizzle out rebound and toast him or work or work to the tenth power IE a fire ball becomes a mini nuke. The weapons become a way to maximize both power and control at once.

Please when your mom gets home from her job at Wal-Mart or the local Pastie Bar, PLEASE have her put some tips aside to send you to community college…or at least buy you a dictionary or thesaurus.
This makes no fucking sense! and to think that I actuall , for some reason, clicked a link that brought me here.
I actually felt myself get dumber reading this…the guy living beneath the HWY40 underpass who sniffs paint and masturbates into empty Big Gulp cups could write better than this.
What can I say some start lower than others when learning ”how to”, I have had little education over grammar due to my learning disabilities and the vast majority of my metal oozing’s are me hammering together something that may can be confused with normal or modern grammar.
Most of my writing or thought experiment musings are poor for many reasons but they tend to fall between how I process words and meaning(dyslexia/aphasia) that combined with the attention span of a nat(ADHD) it makes my zippy speak something the reader has to read in adlib and correct if they are to gain anything other than a migraine from it. Developing anything from scratch can be annoying then add onto where it came from(a kids game one played as a kid) then inane and fevered development of it into something that looks like a train wreck(what is now and will remain until I get all these lose ,lost and wavering thoughts and ideas sorted out) .
I will agree most of what you say is true, however “I do not know” thus the only way for me to share my thoughts and have people, like you rip it to shreds. The more questions asked the more I can hone an “answer” that other people can understand, minus the head exploding goodness that is zippy speak of coures.
As for “CONNOTATION”, perhaps condentation as I hammered it out? I spell as I hear sometimes and sometimes I hear errant t’s,d’s,ect,ect. Then sometimes between the frustration of spelling and spell checkers I leave a word as is.

COTLOP has a multi universe and space time base that involves both sci fi and fantasy elements. The main character is a labeled as a “lord of power” during the last age or arch of the war of creation they were few and far between, but vain and arrogant mages who could warp reality.
That power that enables them to do almost anything within the limits of their individual range comes at a great price, their sub conscious their inner desires and demons can also use that power. And by this mechanism of self corruption they fell into their own personal forms of darkness and simply ceased to be, IE their reality the world around them(something the size of a solar system or small galaxy) imploded upon them and they were removed from existence.
Now in current space time the term “power lord” or “lord of power” can be used as a diss, a means to separate people by labels.
Now with that said would I think or want general space society to think poorly on it no more like those in the know or those that are a part of politics or higher society would very much dote on the term and meaning as some lived during that age and resentment, ect has not diminished any and via their own influence it has reached a apex within certain sects of space society.
Primarily the 2 main opposing forces, Light forces a office/army hybrid society of law, order and a noble society with a certain “jenasaqua” because the chosen people of the light are for law and order but even they cannot completely disconnect themselves from the sillyness that springs forth from mortality even if they can become ageless who and what they are dose not change much when they are chosen and leave their mortal life to serve as defenders of the light .
Dark forces are more bands of space tribes bound together by a lose confederacy of elite leaders called Dark Generals, subtleties change from “tribe” to “tribe” they are either honorable warriors bound by past traditions or viscous and cunning monsters or a mix of both.
All they know or care is that seeking ultimate power can lead one to their end and because they are warriors who are in awe of might they both respect the term for its ability and loath it for its chaotic self indulgence because those of the dark seek the rewards gained from bring all to the abyss of nothingness at Darknesses feet.
Now the main character is dub’s a “Lord of Power” but what does that really mean, that’s something I am trying to work out, for himself it means he has a power that can destroy him and for others it means he has a power that may harm them or bring them dishonor. This and what he was before he was chosen pushes him away from others and instead of becoming a full fledged member of light forces he becomes a wonder who works for light forces now and then.
Someone who hears the calls of the hurting and lost someone who is tiring to find himself before he loses himself to his own whims and desires. So in order to control his power (reality warping) he inverts it and basically is able to copy sometimes perfectly sometimes not so much abilities and skills.
And using amplification devices and weapons he’s able maximize his powers without really using them. It’s a somewhat vain attempt to stop himself from breaking down before he even gets started.
Mmm that’s not to bad really, less poor fluffy attempts to make it sound more than what it is.
